if you found out you had cancer, and you hid the news from your loved ones, just because you don't want them to worry, was it the right thing to do?

if you fell down when nobody was looking, and it really hurt, you bear it and not make it a matter of concern, was it the right thing to do?

if you cried, you're really heartbroken, but you don't want them to know, was it the right thing to do?

sometimes, when we thought we did it for the best, we didn't know it wasn't the best. if you think by hiding your sorrow, and taking all the problems is the right thing to do, and it will save your loved ones from worry, you're wrong. when you take all of those alone, you're not being fair to your loved ones. in one way, it's like you don't trust them, you don't love them. when you're unhappy, what makes you think they should feel happy about it?

when we meet such situations, the simple solution was to just share it. it might bring them a bit of pain, or worry, but if it did free your mind and make you feel better, it makes them feel a lot better as well. and such, it bonds you together with them very much.

i realised this too late. i thought i was doing the right thing all along. but i was wrong. so wrong.

i guess i care too much about my pride, that i hurt my loved ones at times unintentionally. why do i have to act strong in front of my loved ones? i should just trust them and be myself.

oh silly me.
